Tina's Blanket

I tried to make Tina's blanket from colors that somewhat reflected her coloring. She was a blue torbie (A tortoiseshell cat); gray, white, and tiger tan calico. The texture of the yarn hid the stich somewhat and gave it a fuzzy look.

Green Blanket

Made this one for the back of the couch in the livingroom. This one is my own design, although it was inspired by other patterns I'd seen. It was done all in one piece, i.e. no seams. I thought the knot work and cables came out really well.

DVD Cabinet

We wanted a way to store the DVD collection we had without having to see them. We didn't have much luck finding anything in the stores. So I built a cabinet for our DVD's with doors to hide them behind.

Baby Blanket - AT

For a two colleagues, for the birth of their first child. Added a darker red to the pink. I read once that bold colors were better for infants then the pastels, as they stimulate their brains more.

Baby Blanket - GG

This one was for my nephew's son. I like the zig-zag pattern, which can be trying sometimes to keep straight and even. In spite of that it came out nice.

Doily

I love the pineapple motif. So when I had some extra crochet string lying around I tried this. Even though it's not really my style.

Smoke's Blanket

I made Smoke's blanket when he was 10 years old. He lived for another 9 years after that. So he was able to enjoy his blanket for many years.
